Welcome to my selection of links. This place is meant to be the place for links to my friends' sites, but currently there are only few links to sites with (very good) free software.
Firefox - I was looking for a good free Internet Explorer replacement since old (4.7) version of Netscape. Ladies and gentlemen... here come Firefox. Nice browser with very accurate html rendering engine. Being a smaller brother of well known of Mozilla web browser (Firefox is just a web browser) it is also compatible with most web pages - a big for other browsers. Two thumbs up!
Free Download Manager - If you are looking for an application that performs downloading in a clean, fast and in atractive form - seek no longer, get Free Download Manager. Integrates nicely with web browsers and also comes at our preferred price.
Donald Graft's website - Donald Graft is the author of many great VirtualDub filters. People interested in VirtualDub plugins should definitely check his site at
Jim Casaburi is another talented programmer. Any serious VirtualDub user should be equipped with his filters. Check for updates on http://home.earthlink.net/~casaburi.
Trillian - Want to stay at MSN, AIM or ICQ at the same time? Do not waste your time and precious system resources on three bloated applications. Uninstall all of them and chat through all the networks with one utility - Trillian.
UEA - Amiga emulator. With this brilliant free piece of code you can run old Amiga software.
WinFellow - Another Amiga emulator. Also free. Highly recommended. It is not replacement of UAE. Each emulator complements other one.
Terragen - Photo-realistic fractal terrain generator. The desert on the top of this page is made with this program. It is not the best example (as I am not a Terragen master), but this program can generate photo-realistic landscapes. Go to Terragen site and check the gallery. Unbelievable, but for non-commercial uses this application is FREE!
VirtualDub - Best AVI video converting utility. A lot of filtering functions, best recompression capabilities and wonderful video graber module. Do not waste time to read my bla-bla. Go to:
IDA - Interactive Disassembler Pro. This is the best disassembler since Amiga version of "Resource". After regular disassembling (this can be made by many disassemblers) code can be edited. IDA understands many compilers and can generate comments about generic structures and functions from standard libraries. This is a great tool and the older (but still powerful) version can be downloaded for free.
